About

Meet Jen Woodrome, LPC – Trauma Therapist in Forney, TX

I’m a trauma therapist dedicated to helping adults heal from complex PTSD, dissociation, chronic pain, grief, and other trauma-related challenges. I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore and process painful emotions and traumatic experiences that have disrupted their lives.

I specialize in treating complex trauma and dissociative disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, and self-harm. My approach integrates a variety of evidence-based, trauma-informed therapies to support long-term healing.

I am certified in Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), and I’ve trained extensively with Dr. Janina Fisher. I’ve completed Level I (Trauma Themes) and Level II (Developmental Injury Themes) in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and have experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Sand Tray Therapy, and other somatic and experiential trauma treatments.

Therapy Sessions

📍 In-Person Therapy (Texas – Forney)

Sessions are held in a quiet office space designed to feel grounding and safe. If you’re located in or around Forney, in-person sessions can offer a steady, contained space for deep work.

🌐 Online Therapy (Texas residents only)

I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions across the state of Texas. Many clients find that online therapy makes it easier for all parts of them to feel safe, especially early in the process.

💬 A Note on First Sessions
Our first few sessions are about building trust. You don’t have to explain everything at once. We’ll go at your pace, and you’ll always have control over what you share and when.
